Plukon Food Group enters Polish market

Plukon Food Group has reached agreement in principle on a joint venture with the Polish Wyrebski family, which enables it to enter the Polish market. Together with the Wyrebski Family, Plukon Food Group will develop a greenfield slaughterhouse near Wroblew.

The transaction will expand Plukon’s position going forward in Europe and enables Plukon to continue to execute its strategy in the European poultry market. Financial details have not been disclosed.

The transaction is subject to the usual conditions, including approval from the relevant competition authorities.
